Surrounded by nature, on three terraces over the Ebro River itself, and near the railway that in the XIX favored the commerce and internationalization of the Rioja wines, you find Finca Valpiedra; a natural landscape, where flora and fauna live together and with the sustainable and respectful viniculturalphilosophy of Familia Martínez Bujanda. Finca Valpiedra is a winery perfectly integrated in the environment. The visitor can get lost and enjoy the silence until the river bank.
Another characteristic feature of Familia Martínez Bujanda is the commitment with culture.
Winery
The producers of the well-known TV-Series “Gran Reserva” chose Finca Valpiedra as one of their main shooting location sets. And with good reason, because there are very few landscapes in La Rioja, and in Spain, that can concentrate nature, history and winegrowing culture that goes back many centuries in a such a prestigious area dedicated almost exclusively to vine growing.

The winery gathers an important contemporary art collection, mainly paintings, with works from Julián Grau Santos, Jesús María Lazcano, Guillermo Muñoz Vera, Menéndez Morán, Carlos López Garrido, amongst others, and also sculptures from Juan Antonio Olarte. The integration of Finca Valpiedra in the natural surroundings and the different visions of the vineyard stations, are some of the motives that this group of prestigious creators have immortalized. Our visitors can enjoy them while they go through the different rooms of the winery. Finca Valpiedra has also organized periodically some thematic painting and sculpture expositions as Familia Martínez Bujanda is passionate of the most sincere art.
